PRE-HISTORIC PAINTING

The pre-historic man used only natured pigment like Geru, Ramraj, Coal and Chalk etc. Rocks were his only picture space where he tried to draw human figures through vertical, horizontal, diagonal or angular lines. Stencil work has also been found at places. Geometrical figures like circle, triangle, and red, yellow, white & black colors are used and stones are presumed to be used as stone grinder for colors were mixed with animal fat and applied to the walls. The walls of the roof are of very high standard and especially the color schemes are superb.

In the place of brushes this pre-historic man bamboo and other fibrous woods. The end of the woods was hammered in such a way that its fibers come out and brush like form was made.
